Driving Back the Darkness

As the LORD opens doors of opportunity to meet with various Christian Groups, I have observed a disturbing trend.  There appears to be a focus on the hopelessness and darkness in the world.  This systemic hopelessness of the world is dragging members of the Body of Christ down to the muck and mire.   I am thankful for the transformation vision of hope that is founded sole on the Rock .  When our attention is shifted to the Light of Christ the darkness falls behind us.  Then and only then can we proceed through the darkness in to the glorious LIGHT.  

I have seen the message of Transformation bring that light into lives and the marketplace.  It was this message that a friend, Del, received.  He hated his work in the lumber mill, at which he is employed as a supervisor.  Once he got hold of the vision it transformed him and his place of work.  He now looks forward to going to work every day with anticipation in what God will do.  He has seen a big change in the work environment and the Lord has opened the door for him to pray with individuals.  

The transformation message strips away the misconceptions that are prevalent in today’s world influence. As the Apostle Paul wrote to the Church in Rome, “ All creation waits with great anticipation for the Sons of God to be revealed.”  If not NOW, when?  If not US, who?

 We are the Light to the world as the moon is to the dark of night.  Not having any light in and of itself, it reflects the sun.  My prayer is, “Lord make me a full moon so I can shine the LIGHT of your  SON in to the darkness of my world. That I may declare the Hope the lies within.”
