If you've ever talked to someone who has gone bungee jumping you can almost feel the adrenaline overtake you as you hear their story! The enthusiasm and excitement is palpable.
It's one thing to hear someone's story about bungee jumping and it's a completely different dynamic however when that same person takes you by the hand and leads you up the steep ladder to the jump platform, gets you strapped into the safety harness, and secures the bungee cord to your ankle and takes the jump with you!
Hearing stories of God's transformational work in schools, workplaces, cities and nations is encouraging, faith-building and exhilarating! However, many people leave it at just that, good stories and particularly, other people’s stories. Why simply limit your life to hearing good stories of other people doing great things for God when you can write your own? For this to happen though you will need to take a leap of faith. That leap is made easier when there's an experienced "bungee jumper" that leads you up the ladder, straps on the equipment and jumps off the platform with you.
This dynamic is exactly what takes place at our annual International Institute on Nation Transformation. Do we tell stories? Absolutely! Do we encourage others to take risks? Absolutely. And most importantly, we help take people by the hand, climb the ladder with them and take the leap with them. Our ministry is committed to not only inspiration, but to implementation.
