Paranaque Philippines Saved From Two Typhoons

h3. Paranaque Philippines Saved From Two Typhoons Our nation the Philippines has recently been ravaged again by two major typhoons that flooded most of the cities in Metro Manila, suburbs and other provinces. Some cities are still underwater at the time of this writing. Praise God He has spared our city (Paranaque) from this calamity - only a few spots were flooded and the water subsided in six hours in spite of the fact that the water from surrounding cities passed through Paranaque River. Last Monday, our mayor during the flag ceremony, had a very resounding PRAISE THE LORD before all the employees of the city hall. He again attributed this to the fact that because the saints and pastors prayed, our city was spared. The overall sentiment of the people is that what we have accumulated over the years can just be gone overnight - cars, houses, etc. Please include in your prayers those people who are still homeless because of the flood. Thanks be to God, donations and relief goods are just overflowing both from Christians and non-Christians alike. The greatest need now is medicine for those who are sick in the evacuation centers AND of course FOOD. Our network churches are doing the best we can to bring these items to them. I will be going to one of the most badly hit cities on Saturday - Marikina City. Here's one encouraging SMS I received today regarding relief operations: "Shalom shalom! Thanks so much for your partnership and prayers for the kingdom. Another 300 families received help of relief goods. All of them heard d Gospel of d kingdom. Around 245 to 260 people were added to the kingdom TODAY. GLORY TO GOD." After the relief operations, we will be moving to rehabilitation and then transformation stages.
