As a believer in the marketplace, I have always felt the unctioning to carry and integrate my faith in all that I do.  Ever since receiving Christ on 01/01/1994, I knew my calling was to the marketplace, even though I really didn't know what that meant.  Often times, especially when you are in sales, marketing and/or business development, believers look upon you as either odd, or think that you are attempting to use your faith to market your products and services.  Because of the fear of how people would receive me, I often have back-up or backed away when I thought that people could perceive my actions and intent in the wrong way.  I called it being sensitive to others, really it was fear of what people would think.  Even though I often train others on the negative impact of "fear", I must admit at times it grips me in very insidious ways.

I know I am here to impact the Kingdom of God economically by teaching, training, and helping believers develop and apply the wealth philosophies contained in the Word.  I know that I am to help be a part of Transforming communities, cities, states if not our country through marketplace means.  I also know that God has me here in the "heart of it all" up against the massive strongholds that resist the dynamics of Godly change!  Ed Silvoso I was introduced to almost 10 years ago when in response to my question about finding a book that really helped Christians in business; Marsha Ogletree of then "GOD'S PROVISIONS" bookstore gave me a copy she had just received of Ed Silvoso's book, Annoited for Business! It brought massive revelation, illumination and confirmation for me that I was not totally "out-there" with my thinking and calling.  For many people, Ed has helped them define what is marketplace ministry.  He also helped confirm for me that the church was not the four walls of the building we go to for service, but in comprised of you and I as believers.  The message of World Transformation s Ed gives is one rooted in the Word and yet it is revolutionary to the what we have known.
