His love and kindness are amazing, His goodness leads to repentance, and He has truly been demonstrating that in marvelous ways through Prayer Evangelism and the Five Pivotal Paradigms for nation transformation. Here's what has happened since we have attended the Global Conference in Hawaii.
Our Church has watched a portion of the DVDs from the conference, as this was the best way that I could convey to them just a small part of the great work God accomplished during the conference. Following this, I commissioned the entire church as marketplace ministers to go into the marketplace and bring the Kingdom of God to their spheres of influence everyday of the week to reclaim what Christ has already redeemed. I have issued commissioning certificates to everyone as a reminder and a point of faith.
I have started on the assignment of establishing my cohesive core. Last Thursday, (and every second Thursday) I met with two other pastors and my associate pastor. I showed the Florida Canopy of Prayer and the Philippines DVD. I shared my heart for our city and the vision of what I believed God wanted to do here. It was very well received by both pastors. One requested a copy of the DVD on the Philippines. I directed him to the TOW website. We had breakfast together, prayed together and had a great time of fellowship. One of the pastors invited me to be the keynote speaker at her conference on December 3, 2011. I believe God has started something that He will bring to completion for the establishment of His Kingdom here in our city.
Last Saturday, we took the Kingdom of God out to one of our city parks. Jesus Christ totally showed up to build His church! We prayer walked the park the previous Saturday, handed out flyers and blessed many people that day. On the morning of the 12th, while our team was being trained on the principles of Prayer Evangelism, Tom Johnson and his team prayer walked the park again. We went to the park at 1:00 p.m. The glory of the Lord was already at the shelter, and people (especially the youth) just started to arrive at the shelter. The windows of heaven were open over the place. These youth ages from 8 years old to teenage and young adults were requesting prayers especially for their families. In less than two hours, we led 25 persons to the Lord. We proclaimed the kingdom by demonstrating His goodness and they forced their way into it! All glory to Him!!
On November 5th, we went to a restaurant for breakfast. Joe overheard the waitresses conversation and invited her to our table. We blessed her and asked if there was anything we could pray for her about. She said everything was fine. We asked if she was saved and she replied that she was. We then asked if all her family was saved, then she told us we could pray for her husband. As I began to pray, the Lord revealed exactly the need in her home! Her eyes were as big as a saucer, and she said "you are right on". Then she opened up and began to share with us. This works flawlessly! My daughter and I went back to the restaurant today! As soon as we were seated, the same waitress came over to us and reminded us that I prayed for her. She said that life in her home changed for the better since that day, three weeks ago. (She even remembered that it was three weeks ago!) Our God is amazing and He works through Prayer Evangelism as we are willing to practice the principles!
For the event in the park, McDonald's not far from our church, donated a large number of coupons for free meals, which we gave away. We gave a homeless guy enough coupons to feed him for a week! I have prepared a certificate of appreciation for the manager of the restaurant. I will personally deliver it and seize the opportunity to pray for him. Both of these restaurants are on one of the main streets in our city, and one of the first streets we adopted! It is all working together to bring transformation to our city!
