You may say but I go church every Sunday. That’s good, don’t stop it! You may say I confess my sins and take communion. That’s very good, don’t stop it too! But you still need to be born again! Why is that you ask? Because Jesus (God) said so!! So don’t argue with Him! Just do it!

I will give you some explanation. Going to church, making confessions, taking communion is for keeping you in a good shape, keeping you in holiness. But first you have to receive it in order to keep it. By getting born again you will receive God’s holiness into your life. How to do this? You have to believe in the Name of Jesus (that he died for you and has been resurrected and paid price for your sins) and you have to confess Him as your Lord and Savior.

(Rom 10:9-10) “Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.”

It is that simple, just say it:” Jesus I believe that you have died and that you were resurrected for me, from now on you are my Lord and Savior, I belong to you now. Please forgive me all my sins, I receive your eternal forgiveness and your gift of righteousness .Thank you for giving me eternal life. Now all my sins are forgiven and now I am born again to have eternal life with you.”

Now your life starts again, all your trespasses are forgiven and forgotten , all is new. God doesn’t remember your past any more. That’s why it is called new life. So don’t think to much abut your past (since God has forgotten it). Only correct your present actions to not error again but under any circumstances do not dwell in your past. Go forward and forget your past.
