This DVD chronicles the story of the PrayForNewark Adopt-A-Street initiative, a grassroots movement of ordinary individuals, church congregations and businesses that aim to have every one of Newark’s 900 streets, and the people that live there, prayed for on a daily basis. In the same month that the Adopt-A-Street initiative was launched, Newark experienced 43 homicide-free days — something which hadn’t happened in half a century.
