Transformation is about praying for the sick in the church and in city hall. It is about praying for those in authority. It is about caring for the rich and for the poor. It is about eliminating corruption, uprooting poverty, increasing peace and decreasing crime as you spread goodness, peace and joy. Parañaque City is leading the way as a model of a city undergoing transformation.

I had originally posted this as "My Note" on Facebook on Jan. 2, 2011, tagging a couple of Davao pastors & other Christian leaders. It came as my response to a certain documentary video on transformation in Cali, Colombia to which I earlier tagged them in Jan. 1.

Our mayor is now part of our ministry which we call the ‘My City God’s City Movement,’ and serves as the honorary chairman of our Marketplace Pastor’s Academy where we teach and train out-of school youth how to change society via the marketplace instead of society changing them. He and all the other leaders of the different sectors of the city have dedicated and rededicated our city to God. The city seal was even redesigned and stands as a tangible symbol!
