So much has happened this year! I am working on a full year-end report that I plan to send you shortly, but in the meantime I wanted to give you a quick update, and share an urgent prayer need.
*Update:*
This year's Institute in Argentina was amazing! It was the best trip yet! We successfully raised a canopy of prayer from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, from Bermuda to Hawaii! Thousands of people tuned in to participate. During the conference the Lord broke through in a wonderful way to shift our understanding to see that the deepest wound over each nation is not corruption, nor poverty or violence. All of those are symptoms of the deepest wound over individuals, nations…

Light the Nation, Madison Square Garden New York
At the national broadcast of Light the Nation from Madison Square Garden in New York City in October 16, 1999 Sandra and her dance crew stole the show, at least in my opinion.

Dear Saints:
Thank you so much for praying for us for our trip to Bermuda, it was wonderful. On a personal level it was very relaxing and refreshing, the weather was excellent and there is such a spirit of hospitality on the place. Everyone treated us so well.
More importantly the Lord really touched the people. As I shared in the previous email just before we left, I was feeling very vulnerable because our friends in Bermuda had gone through such a tough year, traumatic really.
Just before we left I received several phone calls “out of the blue” from different intercessors who knew nothing of the trip or what was happening in Bermuda (isn’t it great how the…

My friend Richard Gazowsky, a pastor and movie maker in San Francisco, just posted an excellent blog on breaking the spirit of poverty. it is worth reading.
Here’s a quote: “It wasn’t until two weeks later that I fully realized the deeper message that God was teaching us about breaking the spirit of poverty. In Northern California there is an American Indian leader by the name of Ben who has been a close friend over the years. Ben came to me and said, “Richard, two weeks ago I was in Sonoma County and God said,‘Tell Richard that he is breaking the spirit of poverty which comes from his city’s namesake, St. Francis. God told me this on Saturday, when I…

Dear Rev. Conway and Joan Simmons and all our friends in Bermuda:
It was such a pleasure being with you in Bermuda earlier this month. You all treated us so well. It was a very refreshing time. Thank you so much for your hospitality. After just two visits we feel like we are with family. We recorded some of the messages of the conference, unfortunately I was new to the ipod and so a few of the sessions did not get recorded. We do have a the message I spoke on Sunday at Randal Road on “Blessed are Those Who Mourn,” the two sessions by Rev. Dr. Barbara Lucas on spiritual gifts and the short but powerful prayer for…
