Description

with Ed Silvoso

Over the past decade, Vallejo, a city north of San Francisco, has faced many struggles. The decommissioning of the 100-year-old Mare Island Naval Base in 1996 left thousands without work and fueled economic and political discord, and in 2008, Vallejo became the largest city in California to file for bankrupcy. But today God is beginning to renew and restore this city as Christians acively engage to selflessly serve the community. City transformation requires the intentional alignment of business, government and education, and it only happens when pulpit and marketplace leaders walk together and envision a godly city that is larger than any particular denomination. Michael Brown’s transportation company has spearheaded transformation in Vallejo and this DVD documents it in an inspiring way.
